It's our 3rd week into Movember!!! And boy... the team is doing tremendously well so far -- if you're coming into the office over the next 2 weeks please don't be scared by the hairy-faced men and women that will welcome you!YPC is KIVA's 3rd BIGGEST lender out of the Business Internal Groups

We've given out 453 loans to help families start their own business, to rebuild their homes or to expand existing businesses. Through Kiva, we've connected with people from all over the world - Peru, Mongolia, Vietnam... the list goes on...

The event was a massive success! We had over 30 4 man teams competing on the day, each team consisting of a PGA professional. Big thanks must go out to Alex and Jeanette Miller, Ailsa Walter...Yep the London to Brighton bike ride is over and my butt is as sore as!

The event is a fantastically organised. There is a lot of congestion while trying to get out of London. However I was more than happy to start the event slowly! Though-out the ride were official aid stations...ONLY 2 days left to go till our London to Brighton Bike ride!

Around about 30,000 people do this bike ride every year to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and we are so proud to be taking part for the very first time. Just a quick update on the awesome Christmas party we had last Friday. What a night! Despite the weather being frightfully chilly it was great to see so many of our clients there - a couple of clients even came already dressed in their sombreros...Who's that crazy Mo Bro dressed in a Maids outfit at the Movember finale?!

Today marks the end of Movember :-( Our hairy faced YPC men will at last be freed from their mos. It's been fun to watch them grow into hairy men and it's been even more fun for us girls taking part with our fake mos. To savour the memory...Movember Week 4: Oh dear! The girls are hairy indeed, but don't fret! It's not real, it's actually for Movember. We have decided to do our bit by wearing fake mos this week every day all day in office! We look ridiculous, further more we're finding it difficult to eat and drink!Movember Week 3: the heat is on!

It was Preet's and Jamie's first half marathon ever and they did fantastically, and all of us are remarkably able to walk today. Our finish times: Preet (2:26), Jamie (1:56) and me (2:06). In total we proudly raised £1200 for the Royal Parks FoundatThe YPC-Group men will be turning very hairy (again) for Movember to help support research into Prostate Cancer

Sad news! Rob has pulled out of Run to the Beat due to having to attend his mate's stag do! Because of this he is receiving much grief from the team, and rightly so! Luckily for Rob, Rachael is going to pick the baton and compete on his behalf.
YPC Summer BBQ not on this weekend...

Due to council licensing and process times, the YPC Summer BBQ won't be on this weekend (5th September 2010). We think it might also be because they, for some unknown reason, think that a BBQ run by an Aussie and a Kiwi might get out of hand!The girls raise £1,130 in the Race for Life!

Alan and I will be representing YPC on the 8th Oct in the South African Golf charity day - the largest golf tournament of its kind in Europe to support the outstanding work being done by their charities in South Africa.The Aussie beats the SAFAs to the prize!

I had another great day playing golf at the South African Charity Golf day. Thanks to my accountant, Anthony Phillips from Exceed Accountants who provided the invitation, we had a great day's golf.Take 1 building with 42 stories and 920 Stairs and you have Brett and Simon's crazy adventure...

Tomorrow, Simon and I are running up London's tallest building. It's one of a series of events that we are doing to raise money for charity and prepare for our ultimate goal of completing the Marathon Des Sables in 2012.YourPropertyClub wins 'Ride with the Stig' for Comic Relief.

I am happy to announce that we have won the auction for a 'Ride with the Stig' from BBC Top Gear Program. The successful bid of £4100 will go towards the charity and I'll be having a long think about who will be the lucky person to take the ride :)
